167. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction
From the optimism, social unrest, and idealism that turned our nation upside down in the sixties (epitomized by people like Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr.)...

...we gradually morphed into a culture of cynicism, divisiveness, and class stratification beginning in the eighties (spearheaded by Ronald Reagan and carried through to it's inevitable nadir by George W. Bush).

The pendulum is now swinging back towards a more inclusive, compassionate, and socially conscious America, with Barack Obama leading the way.

This is what excites us. We can feel, sense, and witness the movement all around us. Senator Obama is the right man in the right place at exactly the right time.

You can be cynical and tell me I'm drinking the Kool-Aid, but I'll tell you to look again. It's not Kool-Aid. It's fresh, crisp, clean water.

And it's delicious.
