90. The level of delusion is impressive
Hell, this guy could bludgeon an anemic orphan to death with a brick in broad daylight and flocks of his supporters would stumble all over themselves trying to out-do the praises of their brethren for such a stroke of political genius. They'd haul out numerologists to add up the number of strokes to the head and the dimensions of the brick and divine some kind of other-worldly sum that they'd all clamor to donate to the cause, plus 37. Quivering with rapturous adulation, they'd rush to fit this into their unified field theory of the man's undeniable grandeur and shout down any dissent with mind-boggling affirmations of the act.

"Cling to religion"; boy, that's going to help in this country. I thought he was sucking up to superstition, not inciting it. That's just sub-amateur.

Once again, he says what the crowd of the moment wants to hear, unaware that he can't be all things to all people. Those riding the wave of fulfillment simply can't conceive that MANY people view all of this with varying forms of alarm, dismay, disgust, dismissal and laughter.
