That in his own country the UK, he and his partner are legally and equally married, but that in the USA, his partner's home country, that Union is not recognized due to discrimination, rooted in homophobia, which is founded on misogny.
He would also know that these unjust laws apply to his household, in spite of the fact that he has paid more taxes to this country than many large corporations. He has raised more money for chairities here than anyone posting here, make that everyone posting here, on every thread, for a month.


How dare he say some Americans bear prejudices, I mean what kind of a man would get up and say that? In front of 7 flags and including his grandma by name, the very candidate supported by those who are 'offened' at this comment, said most Americans bear prejudices, did he not? And of course both Obama and Elton are correct on that.
