I feel like I've been beat to death w/ debates.
I'm from Iowa and I've been listening and hearing for more than a year now.
It's been more than a year since Hillary came here to Davenport in 10 degree weather w/ her "In It To Win It" speech and her "If I knew then what I know now" excuse.
More than a year since Obama declared.
Going on a year since I first saw Obama in July inside of a packed high school gym at Davenport North High. More than 4,000+ people stood back to chest and shoulder to shoulder that night in that tiny gym.
I had the chance to listen to Obama two more times in person and all the candidates on television numerous times in debates before my mind was made up. I took it all in and made a very educated decision before caucus night on Jan. 3.
While the rest of the country might have tuned in later, surely they have seen what both of the candidates are about by now.
Two more debates?
This ONLY serves the needs of the Republican Party at this point.
No matter who you're talking about, every time they're on camera answering questions from the press there's an increased chance that something will not have been researched, something will come up that only a half-answer is known. A question that plays to the advantage of the Republican Party and is used in a Democratic debate for the sole purpose of derailing BOTH candidates.
It's fine if that happens AFTER our nominee is known, as those are the types of questions that are expected to be gunned at both nominees of both parties, but now?
Geez ... am I the only one that sees the writing on the wall here?
The GOP is loving every single bit of this.
You can bet that now that McLame is the nominee that the media will seek him out and give him a chance to have a rebuttal of every point made by both Obama and Clinton. His comments will be thought out and written by the GOP slime machine.
I don't know if everyone here knows what McLame has picked up since becoming the official nominee. What kind of databases, support and money he has now at his finger tips.
The only thing he has to get close to is his delivery, and while he's not good, we know he's better than *. If * can use the machine and play it w/ the MSM, then you can bet McLame can.
The first debate will be held by Disney Inc. Hmmmm, I wonder how many millions and millions of $$$ that company has given to the GOP?
This opportunity to slam Obama to get Clinton for an improbable GOP November Hillary BBQ will not escape Disney. But don't think for a moment that Hillary will cruise through the whole debate. Disney will not miss the opportunity to gouge Hillary too. Not so much to give an advantage to Obama, but in an area that will play well to McLame in the Fall. No doubt they'll be making their moves based on the very small chance Hillary is the nominee.
WTF?!?!!!!
