and he's also not trying to use the Bush-Rove Fear Machine tactics.

he gives the public credit for being able to realize that a president does not dress up in a suit & pearls, put glasses on, and sit in the dark all night, waiting for a phone to ring.


There ARE other people in the WH..they answer the phone, and then awaken the president if there is a crisis...probably AFTER they have called in the other necessary people who will consult on the "crisis"..
