I'm an independent who tends to vote left most of the time, but finds many admirable people and ideas in both parties. For me, politics is about making my community, state, country and ultimately the world a better place. I agree that Obama is the best person to do that as President - mainly because he calls to all of us to do the same and try to make a difference.

Some here will question your sincerity. That's life; myself, I'd rather trust and get disappointed sometimes than never take a chance at all.
