Anyway, isn't this exciting!!

I am an Iowa College Student... and last night I officially pulled the first all nighter of my life because I was so excited about looking into what is going on with Huckabee. I think this one says it all:

I have sent e-mails today to all my friends and family inviting them to check out Huckabee. One thing I just thought of is how Huckabee helps me understand the whole concept of "speaking with authority," as the Bible describes that Jesus did as he walked this earth as a human with us. His integrity and character just blow me away. I could type on here forever about all of the many, many reasons I am excited for what Mike Huckabee's leadership can do, will do... and really already IS doing for this country!... but mostly this just reminds me that we need to be praying for him right now...

Because Huckabee is also a finite human being who will not be able to do any of this on his own without God's help!! None of us can! And the thing is, we're all going to fail. In fact, there are going to be attacks coming from "left and right" (hehe) now, people trying to find something Huckabee "failed" on to try to point out that he can't really be trusted or something silly like that... but the beauty of it all is, Huckabee is covered in God's grace! We all can be, AMEN?! :) I truly believe that Huckabee will be an honest, amazing leader...and yeah, anyway, I should start wrapping this up...

But the last thing I want to say is... I just realized how I have been "rediculously" (or "radical"ously...hehe) on FIRE these past few days since I found out who Mike was. I have been crazy excited, enthusiastic, and passionate about sharing him with my friends... I have sacrificed sleep hours to get to know him better...
and I wonder... how excited have I been lately to spread the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ and how He came to earth - taking on the status of a slave - becoming human, an INCREDIBLY humbling process for someone who had all the special privileges in the world, literally...! He lived a selfless, obedient life, and died a selfless, obedient death. Because of that obedience, God lifted him high and honored him far beyond anyone or anything ever, so that all created beings, in heaven and on earth, even those long ago dead and buried...will bow in worship before this Jesus Christ, and call out in praise that he is the master of all, to the glorious honor of God the Father Almighty! (rephrased from parts of Philippians 2, the MESSAGE)

Jesus brings life... to the full!! Grace, love, peace.. hope... it's all soooo beautiful. I pray that this AWESOME message, this beautiful story of God's love and redemption for this world, for each one of us!, will also find a renewed voice in this country as we support a leader who also believes in this incredible story.
I pray for all of us right now... that God will keep us humble and cover us with grace. Let's praise God for the work he is doing in this country... in this world... in our lives. :) Amen!!! :)
