We do not know all the facts as to why Dennis did not attend the events in Iowa and has not campaigned more actively in the state in 2008. I have sought, and will continue to seek, answers from his headquarters to this question. Since I posted part of an email that I sent to his HQ, another thread in the politics forum arose that may have come from my posting, of course this thread and the replies have been used to attack Dennis.

My intent was that we should ALL hold our candidates responsible instead of being cheerleaders and making excuses for their words and policies.

Here is the thread...

There is no other candidate who has consistently spoken out for the benefit of people, even when his own future career, personal life and actual life were put on the line.

Now that the tide has turned on the war all the candidates oppose it, now that our liberties are being taken away they look back and forgot who voted for the Patriot Act, now that our deficit with China has skyrocketed and the products we import are not safe they look to solve the problem when they voted for MFN back in 2000.

Whatever happened in Iowa is NOTHING compared to what our nation is facing today due to the fact that others were either influenced or ignorant when they had a chance to vote or speak out on these most important issues.

We need to put things in perspective and remember who is really on OUR side!
