Of course not. They are grown ups, not kids. I'm sure it felt like when you are at a party or a wedding or something for someone you care about, and you are cornered into conversation by that strange uncle, the guy everyone avoids because he is pretty stupid and/or insane, and your trying hard not to ruin the whole event for yourself and others by getting all upset about his weird political ideas. Just sort of going along until you can get the f$ck out of there.

I actually don't think it was a private affair that lasted hours and hours with her at the center, as much as she would like to think that it was all about her.

A good friend of mine has known Bob Weir for 20 years or more, and from what I hear he is way out there... Ann couldn't possibly hang, unless he was running circles around her and she was completely missing it all.
