31.  The school requires immunization -
- and these are middle school children age 11-14, still within range of being effectively immunized based upon your post.

As far as it being a situation where it was a high point in the cycle, none of my friends who have children in different middle schools in the same county received the letter. I have had children in this public school system since 1985 and it is the very first time I've ever received a letter stating that there was an outbreak of any disease where immunization is required by the school.

While I appreciate your google for more information, it is irrelevant in this matter as I am relaying an actual experience and not a theory. It has nothing to do with what company I keep as the circumstances are based upon fact and not politics.

Anyone who thinks that immigrants cannot bring disease might want to bone up on their history and check out the experience of native American's vs. European smallpox. While it may not be PC, I prefer to believe what I actually see and experience firsthand instead of forming an opinion based upon political opinion and rhetoric.
