Could Kerry have a legitimate shot in '08?

I keep thinking about how good his speech was the other day and a lot of people including Howard Dean praised it big time. He's sure sounding more and more Presidential these days. Plus with all of the follies, I have to think a lot of voters have buyer's remorse with Bush and have been thinking a little about how different things would be right now if Kerry were President.

I know the right is cramming Hillary down our throats and I know if Feingold runs a lot of us further on the left would be inclined to support him (he's my Senator after all), but I can't help but think that after weathering the best the right could muster in '04 and how badly they have messed up that Kerry might be able to have a legitimate chance in '08. If not moreso than the other competitors, than as good of a shot as Hillary whom the right would destroy and many on the far left would not work hard for, and Feingold who will be played off as so liberal that moderates may not give him a legitimate look.

Just throwing that out there. What do you think?
