Dr. Dean vindicated for "controversial" DeLay remark

Remember the hugh flap last May when Dean had the audacity to state that Tom DeLay should be "serving in jail?

(Here's a link to one of countless stories on it: / )

Well, it appears this is just the latest of a string of Dean's so-called shoot-from-the-hip gaffes that have ultimately been proven to be true.

For instance, remember the outcry (some from fellow Dems) when Howard said the U.S. public was no safer as a result of Saddam being captured? Now the majority of Americans agree, according to polls.

Anybody care to offer up some other examples of a Dean statement originally being called outrageous but later being accepted as true?
