18. You miss the point of Fox's comment
Edited on Sun May-29-05 02:42 PM by Gman
Fox said in no uncertain terms that AA's are not worth any more than the lowest of the lowest jobs. Then he positioned the immigrants below the AA's in a manner that, at the same time, said that the immigrants have a much higher work ethic than AA's because they will do the lowest of the lowest work thereby implying directly that AA's have the lowest of the lowest worth.

So when you even begin to try to consider whether or not Fox's statement is true or not, you buy into the worthless AA assertion that Fox is making.

Although I'm not Mexican Hispanic or African American, I was born and raised in daily contact and interaction with the Mexican Hispanic culture of South Texas. I lived until I was 14 as the only white boy in a completely Mexican Hispanic part of town. I'm here to tell you that while there are a lot of white folks that hate blacks, there are a hell of a lot more Mexican Hispanics that hate Blacks with an even higher passion. By no means whatsoever am I saying all Mexican Hispanics. I am only saying there is a significant portion of Mexican Hispanics that hate Blacks more than the white folks that hate Blacks. I never have understood why. But, I think its because Mexicans in general have been discriminated against as badly as AA's were and for just as long. Being poorly educated and ignorance play just as big a part in this as it does with whites. I have heard words like mallate and chongol used in a laughing manner about AA's. But there are also educated Mexican Hispanics that are just as racist. In fact I wonder if it is something of a little spoken about cultural thing. This is where I see Fox and I am calling him out on it.

There will be a lot of people that read this that will scoff and even say what I'm saying is racist. There will be other enlightened Mexican Hispanics that will also say what I say is completely true. I know for a fact from my African American friends that live here within the predominantly Mexican culture that this is very true. I know because I've had way too many conversations with my Mexican Hispanic and AA friends about this. In fact the AA's will tell you that Mexican Hispanics are far worse than whites.

So I don't think you know what you're talking about and that you are treading very thin ice to even consider whether or not Fox's remarks are true or not.
