easy for Bush to step up to a podium and say "you know, FDR could have taken over responsibility for all of eastern Europe after the war ... just for safe-keeping.. while the Soviets had not been as overtly predatory as they were to become.

Just so long as you have gotten your history out of a propaganda machine of times gone by.. you would not know how Bush Cherry picks the facts on a day like today when he makes such a Yalta speech.

The Bush WH truly things Americans are stupid.

Except for the 'liberal elites' who obviously are a danger because they now about international political economic history as opposed to the story of the USA as the amazing liberator.

For sure America was amazing. But before that is was against saving even old Europe. And FDR was the only light shinning for democracy in the USA before 1941.

A complete & utter lie that FDR was faulty. He had already, and was to push the USA far beyond where the 'people' and 'vested interests' wanted to go. The Marshall plan? FDR. That saved the fuck out of Europe in the end. All Democrat!!
