6. What an embarrassment
For Diane Sawyer. I simply don't understand how a person can live with herself and be such a putz. The 30 minute interview was one long painful repetitious insistence on making Howard and his lovely wife Judy defend themselves against 60 seconds out of their entire lives.

I think Howard and Judy came off as well as they possibly could given the horrendously stupid questions they were repeatedly asked. How many times did Diane Sawyer try to get Judy Dean to admit that Howard has a temper? I mean, the press are all saying it, come Judy, he must beat you every night!!

Howard and Judy certainly showed that they are a close and loving couple, that they are real people, that they are themselves and will not ever be canned versions of themselves.

I fear that a country in which almost half the population voted for the good old boy from Texas who was actually born in Connecticut to privilege and private schools won't care for the unvarnished humanity that Howard and Judy exemplify. Although they should.
