DNC Winter Mtg -- Everyone Giving A Lot of Respect to Dean

Are you guys watching the DNC Winter Meeting on C-Span? If not, you've already missed Pelosi and Reid and Bill Richardson's talks. To a person, they all gave a nod of the head and a congratulations to Howard Dean.

Reid said he and Nancy met yesterday with Dean and they pledged to work with him -- he was very emphatic. Bill Richardson noted that it was the grassroots who made this happen and that the way they chose the Chair this time -- not a "coronation" (yes, his word) -- was a GOOD thing.

They GOT the message, I think: We the People MATTER, and We DO have the Power, and by God, ignore us long enough and we just might exercise that power once again.

It's a Revolution in our Party, people. It really is, and the Party Big Wigs got it -- at least for the moment. Let's hope it sticks. WE are going to have to carry on from here, work like the blazes, and make sure the message sticks and we continue to do our parts.

In the meantime, Congratulations, everyone! For once, WE the People won.
