16. Nothing like an empty threat
So a democrat in the congress has to vote exactly as you want them to on every issue, and speak at all times in fiery opposition rhetoric. Could this be any sillier? I have a great congressional delegation, but even Leahy and Sanders don't always vote the way I wish they would. Jeffords does so less often. I plan on continuing to support all three. I hope Leahy votes against Gonzales, but if he doesn't, I'll still support him. For every vote he casts that I don't agree with, he casts 50 that I do.
