I'm busted up but not broken.

The brick he threw at me is actually a large chunk of, I don't know what to call it, 'street marble.' I can barely lift it with one hand. I think maybe I'm lucky to be alive.

FWIW, the cops and EMTs thought I was somewhat godlike because I'm not dead. You should see the goddam chunk of stone he hit me with. Jeebus. And I chased him too, with a can of Ravioli. Mess not with the Chef.

Hurts to laugh. Laughing anyway.
