4. Before this mes of an administration, the VP had only one real duty
under the Constitution, to preside over the Senate, and vote only if there was a tie. Other than that, the VP would go to State funerals, and check to see if the president was still alive from time to time.

TR, class act, mountain climbing when he received the news of the death of McKinley. Poor Western Union guy had to find him in the wilds to let him know about the the position he was about to be elevated to. TR turned out to be a remarakbly Progressive entity...:D

In any case, Cheney, and the rest of this grooup of thugs have no idea how they have screwed up the situation. God forbid, but what if there is actually someone worse than bush in the future...:scared: The precedent set could really be a problem in the future...then again, the future to these idiots is just waking up the next day. They have no concept of "vision".
