5. One of the local TV stations wasn't even reporting the age or race
of the perps. They said is was because the only description any of the witnesses could give the police were those two factors and the descriptions were just to vague to make a deal out of (other stations did not hesitate).

I don't know that I'd get too paranoid over this one. Crime in the uptown area of Minneapolis has been on the rise lately and this one could very well be a coincidence. The funny thing is, the local critism of this crime had more to do with the overwhelming response of the Mpls police. - White guy shot in popular, more upscale, commercial district brings out even the chief of police while crime in one of the poorer areas of town hardly rates a mention in the newspaper.
