- it distracts completely from any rational understanding of terrorism..

Even serious thinkers from the far left such as Noam Chomsky find this nonsense completely absurd.

still polls show that approximately one third of Americans believe some version of 9/11 conspiracy theory, however irrational and however harmful such nonsense may be.
