Terror drills becomes reality

On 911 there were several anti-terror drills, among them a dress rehearsal for a scenario where the terrorists are using airplanes to hit tall buildings. In London on 7/7 2005 there was an anti-terror drill going on involving 1000 persons, where the scenario was simultaneous attacks on buses and subway stations.

Are the drill on 911 verified by news media or any credible source? And if so, what to think of this staggering coincidence?
