14. Justification is besides the point
In a cycle of violence like this, one can find justification in almost any act, whether it is an oppressed Palestinian detonating herself in a Tel Aviv market or Arial Sharon ordering a blackhawk missile strike.

Justification is little more than rationalization which enables human beings to murder each other. It perpetuates the cycle of violence. There is no justice in any of it.

The only justice is that which makes progress towards a peace that will spare future generations from further bloodshed and tragedy. All actions must be evaluated within this context.

IMHO the assasinations of Hamas leaders do not advance the prospect of peace, and Kerry should know better.
