"Man Shot After Gun Accidentally Discharges"

Hey, I guess we were all wrong. Guns ARE dangerous by themselves - after all, the article clearly indicates that the gun accidentally discharged (rather than that the gun was discharged accidentally)! Would it not have been more accurate to entitle the article, "Man Accidentally Shoots Self"? Or indeed, "Twat Accidentally Shoots Self"?

"DAYTON, Ohio -- A 22-year-old Dayton man was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital after police said he accidentally shot himself.

Officers said Jeffrey Wagner told them he was at a friend's house on Norman Avenue on Monday night when he was showing a friend his gun.

Wagner said he put the gun back in his waistband when it accidentally discharged, firing a bullet into his right leg."

He sure was a whole lot safer having armed himself, eh?
