10. Robber: Victim begged for her life (IN)
"The woman held the toddler in her arms and begged Lenzo Aaron III not to shoot, Aaron testified Monday.
"Please don't hurt me, sir. Please don't kill me," he said of the woman's pleas.
The 24-year-old Gary man was on the witness stand testifying against his co-defendant, Antonio Jones, 29. Jones is charged along with a third man, James Parks, 21, with four counts of murder in the perpetration of a robbery for the Jan. 16 slayings of Jimmie Jones, 45, Lautrice Jones, 47, Anthony McClendon Sr., 24, and his 23-month-old son, Anthony McClendon Jr."
