First off... having to show or demonstrate "need" is not a prerequisite or a requirement in order to exercise a Constitutional right.

Second... If one does have a "need", there are plenty of legitimate reasons for owning a firearm. Whether you or anyone else recognizes
a particular "need" as being legitimate or acceptable or not, is not for you to decide.
