You summed up the irrational fears of the controlling personalities very well. I'd like to get a Dragunov stock like that for my SKS. Except that it already rubbed my ass raw to pay $50 for a black Monte Carlo for my $100 chinese SKS - which shoots anything I put into it accurately and without fail, with a very light cleaning every 1000 rounds or so. Love that SKS.
