9. Pssst - Nominate the Democrat Who Can Beat Bush!
Edited on Tue Dec-16-03 08:00 AM by molly
I received this email this morning - hiring a classroom full of advisors is NOT the same as having experience!

George W. Bush and Karl Rove plan to run on national security in the general election. As the cover of the right-wing National Review proves, the Republican leadership is hoping that Democrats nominate Howard Dean because they can portray him as weak on national security and foreign policy.

The Republicans are scared of John Kerry because they know he is the one candidate who can stand up to Bush. Not only is Kerry a decorated combat veteran, but his deep foreign policy experience -- forged by 19 years on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and 6 years on the Senate Intelligence Committee -- means he can go head-to-head with Bush and win.

So, if you want to beat Bush, nominate the Democrat with the best chance of defeating him. John Kerry knows something about aircraft carriers for real. And, as Time Magazine's Joe Klein put it, Kerry possesses "the most responsible" vision for peace in Iraq - a concrete, realistic plan to bring in our allies, share the burden, and win the peace.

George W. Bush has already amassed over $100 million dollars for his reelection campaign -- and if Howard Dean is the nominee, you can rest assured that Bush will use this war chest to eviscerate Dean on matters of national security and foreign policy.
