My cynical first reaction is there is not enough lead time and general knowledge and consensus to pull this off, your excellent exhortations not with standing.

However, I've always figured that taking a day off is a human right so I've got nothing against the concept. Many years ago it struck me that if everybody, particularly those living in industrialized society, spent another half hour in bed a day, the world would be a better place. So I've tried to do my part.
