23. I've got a rebel!
Someone dropped him off on my porch some months ago as just a little thing...all alone, shaking and crying. I took him in. NOW - he is a periodic, defiant head-tosser. (You may know the kind.)

He wants to play, but the older cats will have none of that foolishness! He's really smart. I know when to pick him up and when not to. When he has this wild look in his eyes - I let him be. He then goes to the other extreme and relaxes to the point where he looks like he is dead...mouth all agape and everything! I have to look at him long & hard to see if his heart is still beating - sure ' is.

Though I named him "Friskie", it should have been "Sassy" instead!

For some reason, I guess he was taken from his mamma too early because he still tries to suckle the little nibs on the faux sheep-skin throw-cover on the sofa and I just let him have at it...though I do wonder if he'll ever outgrow it?

He gets excited every morning to see me and I pick him up and we have our quiet moment...but its not long that he gets restless and I remind him of his toys!

Cats. They are a real trip!
