For a while, everyone in the area knew me by appearance, if not by name

But, alas, "Amish Punk" did not catch on as a cool style: I had no imitators

So I concluded that my fellow Americans have absolutely no fashion sense, and I moved on, into other pioneering efforts, which taught me even more about my fellow Americans, I am afraid
