The last time the Pubbies pulled this stunt, I knew some people who were hard hit by it, people who couldn't really afford to miss a paycheck for any period. Some of them quit their jobs later, because they couldn't face the prospect of it happening again

There must be a lot of potential stories out there: y'know, like, Since X happened, we've been gettin by, but it's gonna be a lot harder now without my paycheck
