17. Re: Walgreens and beer
Whether or not they sell beer depends on the state where they are located. I grew up in the Chicago area. We went to Walgreens almost every Sunday after church, and my dad would pick up his weekly six-pack there. They not only sold beer, but also hard liquor. The stores in Phoenix do the same. The liquor section is separate from the rest of the store. Here in South Carolina, they sell beer and wine in the grocery section, but no hard liquor. It's not much of a selection, but they do sell it.

I won't shop at CVS because the last time I went there, I wanted to buy an item that was discounted with a loyalty card. I don't have a CVS card. They did not offer me a chance to get one, as other stores do. I wound up paying full price for it. If they're going to be like that, fuck 'em.
