45. It's a TV show
If I had my heart broke by everyone I know who watches American Idol, I would have no friends left. And I don't understand what the hell they see in THAT show, which to me symbolizes all that is shallow about America. But, I wouldn't judge someone based on their choice to TV shows. And I certainly don't get my heart broke by them raving about how great American Idol is.

"I'm going to ask her to please not talk about this show around me"... that's certainly your prerogative, but seems a little silly to me.
