30. I took a look back at my rental history.
Some of these are not current movies, but they are ones I've rented recently because I'd not seen them. (four out of five stars or higher according to me)

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
In Bruges
The Host (good Korean monster flick)
The Sand Pebbles (Steve McQueen movie)
The Man From Earth (low budget sci-fi done right...good script)
All five seasons of The Wire (the best TV series I've ever seen.)
Synecdoche, New York (directed and penned by Charlie Kaufman, starring Phil Seymour Hoffman. Sad, deeply weird, and occasionally very funny.)
