24. It darn near did.
He got on my shoulder and then crawled into my lap. I thought that would be OK, but then he decided he wanted to be near my feet. NOT OK. So I called harleydad and we both pulled over so I could put the kitty back in his carrier.

A few minutes after we started again, I heard something that sounded like ripping. It was the zipper to the carrier opening again. Only this time he didn't come to see me. We pulled over again and I accidentally hit the button to open the door instead of the light button! :scared: And it opened up on the street side. OMG, I was SURE he had darted into the road. It was pitch dark out, so we couldn't see anything. I looked all over the car for him and couldn't find him. Then I saw something brown in the litter box (it's a covered on) that didn't look like a turd. Sure enough, it was my Satchmo. Talk about relief! That's when we decided to switch the carriers.

I think I would have had heart failure if someone crawled into bed with me unexpectedly! Bet you were relieved when you did roll over to see who it was. ;)
