- A gay person -- I'm confused about this. Does the actor need to be straight yet play a convincing gay character or can the actor actually be gay, in which case that doesn't take much convincing? All right, I'll say Harvey Fierstein as Uncle Frank in "Mrs. Doubtfire"

- A terrorist -- Gary Oldman in "Air Force One"

- A parent -- Mel Gibson in "The Patriot"

- A criminal -- Al Pacino in "The Godfather, Part II"

- A cowboy -- Ben Johnson (pick one)

- My Category -- An Idiot -- Kevin Kline in "A Fish Called Wanda"
