Film clip question

Hey all, if you will excuse me, I know very little about computers and computer terminology.

First off, I have AT&T Yahoo DSL. Up until a couple of weeks ago the film clips on DU would download very quickly with almost zero lag time. Now I find they are hardly worth viewing as they take forever to load. Other videos and clips are almost instantaneous. The only thing I can think of that it was around the time I downloaded the 'Final Service pack for Windows XP'.

Does anyone have any insight into this?
