1. To me the flipping of the calender to the New Year
doesn't really mean all that much. It just reminds me that tax time is coming soon.

But it's the feeling I get as we see the various countdowns from across the globe. Everybody getting together at once to witnesss one common thing. One big party. Then after the New Year is rung in we all go our separate ways and forget almost immediately that feeling of unity. I wish we could feel that way all the time.
