Got it basically for free from my grandmother, drove it home from her city to mine. The fan belt broke on the way, in the middle of nowhere, and I bought an extra few miles by borrowing some pantyhose from my girlfriend to use instead.

Later the car developed some sort of ailment so that when I plugged in the block heater, it electrified the entire car and you couldn't touch it without getting a fairly substantial shock.

Eventially the water pump broke and, after trying to replace it (out on the highway, again miles from nowhere), I left it where it lay and I suppose it was towed away at some point.

Pretty classic early-20s behaviour, all around.
