Yes, she has done quite a bit for gay rights - She is actually one of the front runners in that category and definitely needs to be commended for it.

However, that shouldn't make someone not call her on other things she does that are not OK.

She weakens her case for gay rights when she goes after other cultures etc.. That's what bothers me. She is defeating her own purpose at times and should not get a free pass on the not so great things she says just because she has done good in other ways.

This applies to anyone..not just her.
