50. I love coming home to an empty house
and having totally unstructured time, playing talk radio shows long past sleepytime, having dinner at 5 and dinner #2 at 8:30 if I feel like it, having NO TV IN THE HOUSE, getting up at 4 and not having to talk to anybody nor have to worry about what time I should fill the bath tub, and and and . . .

Oh, and what Robb said is one of my favorite things: "You get to cook large meals, and enjoy them as leftovers for days on end." Don't have to think about What Somebody Else Would Like to Eat before I decide what to whip up for a meal. It doesn't have to be normal --- EVER. I don't have to know whether I WANT to eat dinner or not.

Nobody else's SNORING!

Nobody telling ME that I SNORE!

If I don't pick up my mess it's MINE. If somebody else doesn't pick up their mess -- it's not HERE.

I can leave the door open and the heat off and put on a sweater if I feel like it.

Not too many people would find me a compatible live-in partner! <<<LOL!>>>

If I tried to live with someone again I'd want my own bedroom and my own bathroom and someone who hates TV and is not in the least bit codependent. Time apart is as important as time together.

Sheesh, after writing all this down I figure I really DON'T ever want to find anyone again! But it sounds like that's normal too : )
