and if you do travel the whole state, you will notice a lot of environmental changes. When I first went to Anchorage/Wasilla I was really taken aback about how flat the area was...I mean, its not flat, but in a sense it is. They have a lot of surronding mt. ranges, but they are WAY out in the distance. The tree's are pretty small also, and some other minor differences. I'm just use to rain, big tree's, rocky beaches with busted glass all over...;)
