27. I do this too!
I'm from the Midwest, and thus have a "newscaster" accent (or close to it) normally. The thing is -- I've never lived anywhere else. It just happens, after awhile.

My dad does this too -- he's a recently retired Spanish teacher, and if he's talking to a native speaker, his Spanish will pick up the speaker's accent. (My English will pick up a slight Mexican or Puerto Rican or Guatemalan or whatever accent, too. My Spanish is so bad, accents don't really figure into it -- except I was able to say "I'm sorry, I don't speak much Spanish" in perfect Costa Rican speech when I was there for a week.)
