I often get so involved here it borders on scary. Take a few days off regularly. It works.

But please don't just go away. I know what you mean about DU feeling like a family - that's because we've tried to build a community. Like it or not, you are part of that family, that community. So take a few days off.... but come back, because you are part of our family and we will be diminished without you.
