7. Just buy either firm or extra firm tofu
and slice it in about 1/4" slices. About 8.

Put about 1/4" or so of canola oil in a non-stick skillet and let it heat.

Dredge in beaten egg. Then dredge in flour with plenty (sorry, I don't measure) of Lawry's Season Salt, pepper, and garlic powder mixed in.

Repeat dredging.

Place in skillet once oil is good and hot and fry, turning once when first side is browned.

It's pretty good. I'll eat it and I'm not a veg.
