Last year, the bank credited a $3,000 deposit as $300,000 to my checking account. I called them immediately and they removed it, but never sent the corrected credit memo to the bank upon which the $3,000 check was drawn.

Ten days later, I logged on to see that they had debited the $300,000 again from my account, locking up the $18,000 I had in there that was mine.

Took two days to get it straightened out.
