I like to listen to my CD player. The Clash, Green Day, The Caesars, Bob Dylan... Yeah. I like my music. At home, in the car, on the bus...

At school.

Yeah. I like to listen to my CD player at school.

Of course, not during class time. I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't think of it.

But, I do like to listen to my CD player while writing up reports at After School Homework Club. There's just a certain special thing about rocking out to 'London Calling' while writing about Ben Franklin. Trust me, it's awesome.

What is NOT awesome is this: Up to now, we could listen to our CD players after school. Now we can't, and we may not be able to listen to them on the bus.

I listen to my CD player on the bus, as the only radio is a crappy Western-pop station that the bus driver insists on.

It is just... ludicrous that I cannot listen to MY CD player, while doing MY homework after school. Not during class when we are supposed to be paying attention to the teacher... but AFTER SCHOOL.

I am going to talk to both my principal and vice principal about this. It is outrageous. Completely outrageous. We students have rights!
