5. Alan Alda talking about Larry Linville
I saw an interview with Alan Alda, I think LL had just recently died. They were talking about MASH.

I'm paraphrasing: He said Larry Linville was out of all of them, the most generous actor, to go in every week and have his character perpetually be the butt of so many jokes and horseplay.

He was just trying to saw what a contrast LL the actor was to his freeper character, since the audience never saw that.
