4. Telemers, The fountain of youth?
The cells of your body constantly reproduce themself in order to keep up with damage and disease. Each time you cells reproduce themself they lose a little bit off the end of your chromosomes. This little bit is called a Telemer. Eventually enough is lost that the cropping bites into active DNA. When this happens your cells begin to lose the capacity to reproduce as effectively. Your ability to heal and recover begins to diminish. Time begins to catch up.

It may be theoretically possible to reset telemers. If this were possible the life span of a human could be extended greatly. Furthermore it would lock your health near your peak. Optimum reproduction of cells.

Course this is all theoretical and without further genetic research such advances may never come.
